Description
PROGRAM: Fire Marshal Jonathan Marr will present on the fire department’s ongoing challenge of responding to older adult falls, and how those experiences led to a groundbreaking solution. He will highlight the first-of-its-kind, community-based Fall Prevention Program, which was designed by a dedicated Task Force and later established the nonprofit Fall Prevention Coalition. This innovative initiative applies simple, evidence-based strategies to reduce falls, enhance independence, and their actions are already delivering measurable results.
