DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our monthly Chamber luncheon held at the Derby Welcome Center Austin Room.\n\n \nIn order to appropriately social distance during the luncheon\, a limited number of seats will be available.\n \n\nProgram: COVID-19 continues to make changes in all our lives\, and school districts are no exception to this. After an unprecedented completion of the last school year\, Derby Public Schools has been working hard to plan for a Return to Learn. The district will be providing an update on the "Return to Learn" plan for the 2020-2021 school year including learning models\, safety and security logistics\, gating criteria which will help guide decisions on in-person\, hybrid or remote\, and more. Derby Public Schools will also provide an update on bond progress and other summer highlights. You will hear from Heather Bohaty\, Superintendent of Schools\, and members of the District Leadership Team will also be available to answer questions. \n\n\n\n \n\nCatered by: Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q\n\n- Sandwich w/ choice of Beef Brisket\, Pulled Pork or Hot Links\n\n- Mac and Cheese\n\n- Baked Beans\n\n- Apple\, Peach and Cherry Cobbler\n\n- Tea and Lemonade\n \n\nSponsored by: \n\n \n \n\n\n\nAgain\, reservations must be made no later than Wednesday\, August 26 by 12 pm (even if you have a luncheon package).
