You are invited to McConnell Air Force Base for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at one of the most unique and diverse units in the Air Force, the 184th Wing of the Kansas Air National Guard – “The Fighting Jayhawks.” The 184th occupies a distinctive position as a large Air Force unit with NO airplanes. Instead, they are engaged in the futuristic missions of Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Multi-Domain Command & Control. Furthermore, as an Air National Guard Unit, the 184th has dual roles of fighting our nation’s wars and defending America at home, where they respond to natural disasters and other emergencies.
The tour will include a mission briefing for each of the following units: 299th Network Operations Security Squadron (NOSS), 134th Air Control Support Squadron (ACS), 161st Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Group (ISRG), and lastly the 184th Incident Awareness Assessment (IAA) Team. These top secret facilities are only opened up several times a year to the public. Only 25 spots available.
