Event Description:

Thank you to everyone who purchased ducks for the Great Duck Derby - sales have officially ended! Make sure to check your racing duck numbers and heat assignments before the first race begins at www.derbychamber.com/duckderby

If you plan to attend the races live, the first heat will begin on Friday, June 24 at 9:00 am in the Lazy River at Rock River Rapids (1900 E. James St.).

If you plan to view updates online, make sure to check the Derby Chamber of Commerce Facebook page often @DerbyChamber. We will post a photo of the winning ducks after each of the 6 qualifying heats. The Championship heat will then be live streamed on our page. All winners will be notified via phone or email Friday afternoon.

Cheer for your lucky ducks as they race along the lazy river at Rock River Rapids during our annual Great Duck Derby!

Qualifying ducks from each of the 7 heats will earn a spot in the championship race. Ducks in the championship race will have a chance to swim away with up to $1,000 cash! All none winning ducks will then go into the last place race, where last place will take home a prize.

Participants DO NOT need to be present to win.

** Only the championship race will be live streamed in 2022. Heat results will be shared via Facebook posts during the event.
